Swanbarton, a UK SME, is set to lead a consortium consisting of the University of Bath, the University of Botswana Clean Energy Research Centre (CERC), and Yuasa Batteries UK. The consortium aims to assess the technical and commercial viability of a system designed to assist electricity consumers in Sub-Saharan Africa. This system seeks to safeguard households and businesses from frequent power cuts in the region, ensuring uninterrupted access to essential services.
