Vietnam Intelligent Energy Trading Platform for Upscaling Local energy Storage and EV (VIETPULSE) is a project that aims to enable the next frontier of electrification in Vietnam, using data and digital technologies to create a smarter electricity grid with renewable energy. The project is led by UK-based Qbots Energy, in collaboration with Eastern International University (EIU) and HTENATECH.

VIETPULSE combines distributed smart control and renewable energy through a localised smart energy marketplace platform, overcoming barriers with innovative energy service models using low-cost IoT technologies. The project targets business/industrial parks in Vietnam with net-zero targets and offers them a Federated Power Plant (FPP) technology that coordinates energy usage, generation and storage, and enables P2P energy trading and grid level services.
With support from Energy Catalyst the project will deliver a validated smart energy trading and optimisation platform, and measure its impact on cost savings, income, and carbon emissions.
