TUPROOFS - Thermal under PV roofing SIP

Stage: Round 3

The TUPROOFS project explores innovative ways to integrate PV and Solar Thermal technologies on roofs, focusing on newly built and Passivhaus-level residential and commercial structures, as well as refurbishments. It considers on-site deployment, IPR export, and delivering energy to rural areas in developing countries, aiming to support local industry, employment, and access to light and communication, potentially slowing migration to cities. The project anticipates the creation of a joint venture among partners to capitalize on the technology and knowledge developed.
