Oceanflow Energy’s Starfloat solution utilizes a cost-efficient multifloat-spar structure, enabling the economic development of deep-sea wind farms. The platform also explores addressing freshwater scarcity off the southwest coast of Africa, coupling wind energy with a reverse osmosis plant to potentially replace costly diesel-driven alternatives, demonstrating its viability for both electricity production and freshwater generation based on community needs.
