The enee.io project is a low-cost intelligent energy monitoring system that uses IoT sensors to collect and analyse data from energy sources, storage, and consumption. This Energy Catalyst supported project will provide customers with plug-and-play sensors, mobile and web applications, and web-based reporting to optimise energy usage, improve system health, and safeguard backup power. It will use AI to enable users to fully optimise their energy system, increasing availability, resilience, and performance. As a result, the project seeks to help people in low-income countries who pay high amounts for energy and suffer the effects exacerbated by pollution caused by diesel generators.
